Ingredients:

 

3 cups Sky Drifter Flour

1 1/2 cups Moonbeam Sugar

1 cup Cloud Churned Butter

1/2 cup Starlight Milk

2 tsp Aurora Baking Powder

1 tsp Whispering Wind Vanilla Extract

1/2 tsp Comet Cream of Tartar

4 eggs from Phoenix Feathers

A pinch of Rainbow Dust for color

 

Instructions:

 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pans.

 

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the Cloud Churned Butter and Moonbeam Sugar until light and fluffy.

 

Add the eggs from Phoenix Feathers one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

 

In a separate bowl, whisk together the Sky Drifter Flour, Aurora Baking Powder, and Comet Cream of Tartar.

 

Alternately add the dry ingredients and Starlight Milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir in the Whispering Wind Vanilla Extract.

 

Divide the batter evenly among three bowls. Gently fold in a pinch of Rainbow Dust to each bowl, creating a gradient of pastel colors.

 

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pans and smooth the tops with a spatula.

 

Bake the cakes for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

 

Assemble the Celestial Cloud Cake by stacking the layers with a thin layer of Moonbeam Sugar Glaze in between. Decorate the top and sides of the cake with shimmering star-shaped crystals.
